Before you use it

Put the right number on the form

  • If your marksheet, degree certificate or university circular states a conversion formula, use that one. It overrides anything on this page.
  • Rules can differ by scheme and admission year, even within one university. For formulas marked “Check your circular”, confirm with your university's official circular before you rely on the result.
  • University not listed? Choose “Another university” and enter the multiplier and offset from its circular. The converter uses percentage = (CGPA − offset) × multiplier, and keeps results between 0 and 100.
  • Some forms ask for your university's official conversion certificate instead of a calculated number. When they do, this page can't replace it.

Beyond the number

Show what you built next to your CGPA

Many recruiters still ask for CGPA. On ZeroTheory it sits next to your verified projects, each scored by a published rubric, so your marks aren't the whole story.
