What you can raise
- requests about your personal data: access, correction, erasure or withdrawing consent;
- content on ZeroTheory that you believe is unlawful, abusive or impersonates you;
- problems with your account, a score or a college's use of your data;
- payments and refunds for programmes on zerotheory.live.
How to write to us
Email grievance@zerotheoryai.com. Please include:
- your name, and the email address or username of your ZeroTheory account;
- what happened, with links or screenshots if you have them;
- what you would like us to do.
To appeal an integrity decision, use the appeal button on the decision itself. It keeps your evidence with the case. You can still write to us if you need help.
Our timelines
- We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.
- Content that exposes someone's private body, shows them in a sexual act or impersonates them is removed within 24 hours of a complaint.
- Other requests to remove unlawful content are acted on within 72 hours.
- Content a court or the Government lawfully orders removed is taken down within 3 hours.
If you are not satisfied
- Personal data: you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- Content decisions: you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee under the IT Rules, 2021, within 30 days of our decision.
- Purchases: you can contact the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or a consumer commission.
