You need: HTML, CSS and JavaScript basics (Web Foundations covers them) and a laptop or desktop.

Modules, async code and TypeScript types. Project: a typed utility library with tests.
Week 2React fundamentals
Components, props, state and events. Project: an interactive quiz UI.
Week 3Next.js App Router
Pages, layouts, routing and metadata. Project: a multi-page college club site.
Week 4Server Components and Server Actions
Rendering on the server, data fetching and mutations. Project: a notes app.
Week 5Postgres and SQL with Supabase
Tables, relations and SQL queries. Project: the schema and queries for an events app.
Week 6Authentication
Sign-up, sign-in and sessions with Supabase Auth. Project: sign-in protected notes.
Week 7Row Level Security
Authorisation in the database, so users only see their own data. Project: a multi-user app.
Week 8Forms and validation
Validating input with Zod and handling errors well. Project: a robust event registration form.
Week 9Testing
Unit tests with Vitest and browser tests with Playwright. Project: a test suite for your app.
Week 10Styling and accessibility
Tailwind CSS, responsive layouts and accessible components. Project: a polished, accessible UI.
Week 11Deployment and monitoring
Environments, secrets, deploying and health checks. Project: your app, deployed with checks.
Week 12Capstone
Plan, build and ship a complete app. Project: a college event registration app, end to end.
